The Eli Young Band is coming to Mohawk

The Arnie is always the social hub of Mohawk College, hosting a variety of school events, pub nights, and more. But sometimes it hosts something really special.

In past years, artists as varied as Dallas Smith, Tim Hicks, and Lil Jon have performed in the Arnie for reasonable prices.

Now, the Mohawk Students’ Association (MSA) is giving students the chance to see one of the hottest acts in country: the Eli Young Band.

“I can’t believe that they got the Eli Young Band to come to Mohawk,” enthused Mohawk College student Ashley Jackson. “In the past two years I’ve gone to every single country concert in the Arnie, but this is the most exciting one,”

“I’m really excited for the turnout,” said MSA street team member Moe Mahmood. “Country shows and country pub nights have been such a success in the past, and I see that trend continuing. I don’t see any reason why we shouldn’t have a packed house. I know a lot of students are equally excited and “literally can’t even” wait”

The concert will be in the Arnie on February 25th. Student tickets are $20, guest tickets are $30, available at the MSA office. This is an all-ages event.
